The road ahead may be set. Our core person may be defined. We will try our best to live our best, but will still encounter situations in and out of our control. Through these encounters with people and situations, we evolve. Experiences open the door for the mind and the will to allow for new perspective and change…thus, an evolution to whom we are destined to become. And yet, we still have the power to change.
If we are open and let nature take its course, we can move with it. The wisdom from the experience will guide us for the next encounter, and the next...if we allow it to teach us.
In my previous blog, www.a2009journey.blogspot.com, I set out to try something new each week. But I found the joy was exploring the person behind the task. It felt collaborative and they were sharing a part of themselves, although what we did together was the culmination of their craft (flew a helicopter, served as a sous chef, finished houses for the poor, visited with the elderly, etc.)
As The Road Evolves, my goal is to continue to learn, but through other people and their experiences.
Find your outlet. Pour. And build.
